I am Korean and grew up most of my life in Korea. I came to the United Sates to study in a graduate school in July of 2000. During my last winter break I visited my parents in Korea. Through them I contacted the local church in Seoul, Korea. I was impressed in the first meeting to see many people speaking something about God because my thought before was that only an ordained minister could speak. One striking point from the meeting was that God, who is Spirit (John 4:24), is living inside of me from the time of my salvation. God wants to grow in me by spreading from my spirit, to my soul and even to my body (Romans 8:6, 10-11). Eventually the growth of God's life will transform me (Romans 12:2) into a full-grown son of God (Romans 8:29; Ephesians 4:13) who can fulfill God's heart's desire on earth (Ephesians 1:9). Before I heard this, I thought that God is perfect and needs nothing from us but always wants to give us something. However, from these words I realized that we are living on this earth to achieve God's goal through the church (Ephesians 3:10-11). This vision becomes clearer to me as I spend more time reading God's Word and also fellowshipping with others in the church. This vision caused me to come the Full-Time Training in Anaheim to see something more and to be useful to the Lord in His work.
